Now you can monetize from Discord..
Discord is by far the favorite platform for players to communicate via audio in games. It is also an ideal meeting place for influencer communities or social groups with shared ideas. Now, running and managing a Discord server is a time-consuming task, especially when it’s from a huge community. Fortunately, Discord has expanded its subscription program to include servers so creators can monetize their work.
Starting today, Discord server managers will be able to start charging a subscription fee for special rewards, such as server perks or access to premium servers. Of course, not everyone will be able to earn money through their Discord server. We’ll tell you all the details soon.
– Monetization requirements of Discord server and start making money
These are the minimum requirements to start monetizing your Discord server:
– Be of legal age (over 18 years).
– Check email and phone number.
– Activate two-step verification.
Of course, currently monetization is only available in the United States. If your Discord account, and therefore your server, is not from the United States, you will not be able to access monetization right now. This program will certainly be extended in the future to other countries.
Incidentally, Discord explicitly explained that there is no minimum community size or threshold for active users to be eligible for income. Regardless of your large or small follower size, you’ll be able to add monetization options to your server as long as you meet the most expensive minimum requirement.
