Apple launched the first beta version of iOS 17.4, which comes with significant updates compared to previous versions. In addition to the new features, Apple will also allow users in EU countries to install apps from outside the App Store.

The most important change in iOS 17.4 update is to allow iPhone users to install apps from outside Apple’s App Store.

But this big change won’t reach all users, it’s exclusive to users in EU countries, and Apple’s decision to allow apps to be installed from outside of August Store came in compliance with an EU ruling that requires Apple to allow apps to be installed from outside of August Store.

To support this change, Apple added more than 600 new application software interfaces for developers and set the basic criteria for payment options, security procedures, etc.

1.The podcast app will display a written version of the audio episodes, the written text appears while listening to the podcast episode, and the user can copy the text of the episode if they wish to share it with other people in another application.

2. Adding a new option to the Stolen Device Protection feature enables activation of an hour’s security delay when attempting to disable the Stolen Device Protection feature or change security settings, even if done at home or elsewhere familiar.

3. The Siri voice assistant can read messages in multiple languages different from the device’s primary language, and users can choose the languages supported by Siri voice assistant and install them from the settings app.

4. Apple will officially allow game streaming apps such as: GeForce Now which includes a range of different games that can be installed once instead of installing each game about individually.

5. The new version of the CarPlay service will reach new cars in iOS 17.4.

6. Add more than 100 new emojis to the next iOS 17.4.

When will Apple launch iOS 17.4 update?

Apple has not officially announced the launch date for the final release of the iOS 17 .4 update, but since Apple’s deadline to comply with the EU ruling is March 8, it should launch it a little earlier.
